An Ordinance relating to the Voting
Precincts in the City of Bremerton;
amending Ordinance No. 1781 and declaring
an emergency,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 48 of Ordinance No. 1781, as
last amended by Ordinance No. 2504, be, and the same is hereby,
amended to re-define the boundaries of Precinct No. 48 as follows:
PRECINCT NO. 48
Beginning at the intersection of the North Margin of
Kitsap Way (Primary State Highway No. 21) with the centerline of
$horewood Drivel thence Westerly, Northerly, and Westerly along the
Northerly margin of Kitsap Way to the West line of the East 1/2 of
the East 1/2 of Section 8, T 24N, R1E, W.M.; Thence North along
said West line to its intersection of the East West center of SEction 8,
T 24N, R1E, W.M.; thence East along ~id East,West center of Section 8
and its Easterly extension to the Government Meander line; thence
Southerly along the Government Meander Line and Northerly along said
Government Meander Line to the tip of Madrona Point; thence continuing
along the Government Meander Line Easterly and Southerly to the North-
west corner of the lot described in Volume 191 of Deeds, Page 606,
under Auditor's File No. 232954, records of Kitsap County, Washington;
thence Southwesterly along the West line of said lot to the North
margin of Primary State Highway No. 21; thence Westerly along the North
margin of said Highway to the point of beginning. Situate in Kitsap
County, Washington.
Section 2. That Section 49 of Ordinance No. 1781, as last
amended by Ordinance No. 2679, be, and the same is hereby amended to
re-define the boundaries of Precinct No. 49 as follows:
PRECINCT NO. 49
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline
of Wheaton Way with the North margin of Sylvan Way,thence East 380.01
feet along the north margin of Sylvan Way; thence N l°48'35'' E 147.19
feet; thence N 88°58'66'' W 125 feet; thence N l°48'33'' E 639.97 feet
to the southline of Tract 14 of Sylvan Park as recorded in Vol. 6, page
45, records of Kitsap County, Washington; thence running West along the
south line of said TRact 14 to the centerline of Secondary State High-
way No. 21-B; thence North along the eenterline of said Highway to its
intersection with the easterly extension of the north line of the Plat
of Valle,Hi Addition #3, as recorded in Vol. 10, page 2, records of
Kitsap County, Washington, thence west along the north line of said Plat
and its easterly extension to east line of SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4, Section 2,
T 24N, R1E, W.M., thence south along the east line of said SW 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 and continuing south along the east line of the NW 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 of said Section to its intersection with the south line of the
Plat of Valle-Hi Addition No. 2, as recorded in Vol. 9, page 75, records
of Kitsap County, Washington; thence westerly along the south line of

said Plat to the centerline of Gillette Avenue, thence south along the
centerline of Gillette AVenue to the centerline of Sylvan Way; thence
west along the centerline of Sylvan Way to the centerline of Pine Road%
thence south along the centerline of Pine Road to the westerly extension
of the north line of Tract 13 of the Plat of Manette Villa Tracts, as
recorded in Vol. 4, page 96, records of Kitsap County, Washington~ thence
east along the north line of said Tract 13 to the northeast corner of
said Tract 13; thence South along the east line of said Tract 13 to the
southeast corner of said Tract 13; thence east along the south line of
Tract 4 of said plat and its easterly extension to the centerline of
Stewart Road; thence north along the centerline of Stewart Road to
the centerline of Dibb Street; thence east along the centerline of
Dibb Street to the centerline of Phillips Avenue~ thence north along
the centerline of Phillips Avenue to the centerline of Sylvan Way;
thence east along the centerline of Sylvan Way to the point of beg-
inning.

of Section 2, T24N, R1E, W.M., situated in Kitsap County, Washington
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 1781 be, and the same is
hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section No. 67, which reads
as follows:
PRECINCT NO. 64
Beginning at the point of intersection of the west line
of the East 1/2 of the E 1/2 of Section 8~ T2~N, R1E, W.M. with the
East West center of said Section 8; thence north along said west line
of the East 1~ of the East 1/2 of said Section 8, and its northerly
extension to the north line of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 5,
T24N, R1E, W.M.; thence east along said north line and its easterly
extension to the Government Meander Line6 thence southerly, easterly,
westerly and southerly along said Government Meander Line to the
East West center line of Section 9, T24N, R1E, W.M.; thence west along
said center line of Section 9 and continuing west along the East
West centerline of Section 8 to the point of beginning. Situated in
Kitsap County, Washington.
Section 4. That Ordinance No. 1781 be, and the _same is hereby,
amended by adding a new section No. 68, which reads as follows:
PRECINCT NO. 65
Beginning at the intersection of the east line of the
SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 section 2, T24N, R1E, W.M., and the north line
of the Plat of Valle-Hi Addition #3 as recorded in Vol. 10, page 2,
records of Kitsap County, Washington; thence west along the north
line of said Plat to the NW corner of Lot 80 of said Plat~ thence west
along the north line of Lot 21 and 20 of the Plat of Robesons 1, 2,
and 5 acre tracts as recorded in Vol. 1, page 72, records of Kitsap
County Washington to the centerline of Pine Road; thence south along
the centerline of Pine Road to its intersection with the North line
of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 2~ thence west along said
north line to the ~st line of said NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4; thence south
along said west line to the south line of the N 1/2 of said NE 1/4 of
the SW 1/4~ thence east along said south line to the centerline of
Pine Road; thence south along the centerline of Pine Road to the center-

Section 5. That Ordinance No. 1781 be, and the same is
hereby, amended by adding thereto a new section No. 69, which reads
as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Price
Road with the centerline of Harlow Drive; thence in a northwesterly
direction along the eenterline of Harlow Drive to the westerly
extension of the south line of the Plat of Brentwood, being Jas. W.
Carr's subdivision as recorded in Vol. 4, page 84, of Plats, records
of Kitsap County, Washington~ thence east along the south line of
said Plat to its east line (said east line being on the present City
Limits line); thence north along the east line of said plat to the
south margin of Mont View Drive; thence in a southeasterly direction
along the south margin of Mont View Drive to the southwesterly margin
of primary State Highway #21 (SR-3); thence N 55° E across said
highway to its northeasterly margin; thence northerly and westerly
along the northeasterly margin of said highway to its intersection with
the west line of the E 1/2 of the E 1/2 of Section 8, T24N, R1E.,W.M.,
(said west line being the east margin of Lakehurst Drive); thence north
along said west line to its intersection with the south line of the

Section 6. Tha~ an emergency exists affecting the public
peace, health and safety of the Citizens of the City of Bremerton,
and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately following passage
and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in authentication
