AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating into
the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton
certain land lying outside the limits of the
City of Bremerton and being contiguous to the
City of Bremerton and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN~
Section 1. Whereas, a petition siKned by the owners of
more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the property hereinafter
described, in value according to the assessed valuation for taxation
of said property, has been filed with the City Council of the City of
Bremerton and the Council has directed that notice of the hearing of
the petition be given and, thereafter, a public hearing was held on
qbe ~.~day of ~~f~ , 1967, and following such public hearing
· the Gity Council has determined to annex said described property..
Section 2. That the following described tract of land is
hereby and by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within and
becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline or Price
Road with the centerline of Harlow Drive; thence in e
Northwesterly direction along the centerline of Harlow
Drive to the Westerly extension of the South line of
the Plat of Brentwood, being Jas. W. Carr's subdivision
as recorded in Vol. 4, pa~e 84, of Plats, records of
Kitsap County, Washington; thence East along the South
line of said plat to its East line (said East line being on
the present City Limits line); thence North along the
East line of said plat to the South margin of Mont View
Drive; thence in a Southeasterly direction along the
South margin of Mont View Drive to the Southwesterly mar-
gin of primary state highway #21 (SR-3); thence ~.I 55° East
· across said highway to its Northeasterly margin; thence
Northerly and Westerly along the Northeasterly mar~in of
said highway to its intersection with the West line of the
East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of Section 8, T 24N, R1E, W. M.
(said West line being the East margin of Lakehurst Drive);
thence north along said West line to its intersection with
with the South line of the N 1/2 of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4
of the SE 1/4, Section 8, T 24N, R1E, W. ~f.; thence West
along said South line and its Westerly extension to the

Southeasterly along the northerly margin of said highway
~~ to a POint which is N 39°30'20" East fr°m the NE c°rner °f
Lot 3 in the Plat of Lake Kitsap Summer Homes as recorded
~ in Vol. 3, pa~e 9~, records of Kitsap County, Washin~ton~

line of navieability of Kitsap Lake; thence runnin~ Westerly,
~" Southerly, Easterly, and Northeasterly along said line of
navigability to a point of intersection with the North South
center section line of Section 17, T 24N, R1E, W.Y..;
thence South along said center section line to a
point which is ~97' North of the South line of Section
17, T 24N, R1E~ W.M.; thence East parallel to and 497'
North of said South line of Section 1'7 to the centerline
of county road ~250; thence Northeasterly along the
centerline of said county road #250 to the centerline
of Price Road; thence easterly along the centerline of
Price Road to the point of beginning.
Section 3. The property herein described be and it hereby
is annexed to the City of Bremerton with that zoning use classification
the same bore immediately prior to hearing, ~- ~
Section 4. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace~ property,
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect following passage and
publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
