STATE OF WASHINGTON )
COUNTY OF KITSAP )
GLENN K. JARSTAD, being first duly sworn on oath, deposes
and says: That he is the duly elected, qualified and acting Com-
missioner of Public Health and Safety of the City of Bremerton;
that at the time of the adoption of the 1957 budget, it could not
reasonably have been foreseen that the appropriation available in
the 1967 Maintenance and Operation Fund of the City of Bmemerton
Attorney's office would not be sufficient to offset additional
administrative expenses which had not been previously anticipated;
and that an emergency appropriation of $1,000.00 is required for
this purpose.
