East Highlands, and described as follows: A strip
of land, 60 feet in width, lying 30 feet on each side
of the following described centerline; Beginning at the
intersection of the Westerly margin of Winfield Avenue
as described in that cmrtain Quit Claim Deed filed under
Auditor's File No. 832q44, dated 13 October 1964, Kitsap
County, Washington~ and the Westerly extension of the
Centerline of Highlands Street in the Plat of The High-
lands as ~eco~ded in Vol. 6 of Pla~s, page ~2, ~eco~ds
of Kitsap County, Washington; thence Westerly along the
extended Centerline of East Highlands Street, to the
East margin of Marlow Avenue as described in that certain
Quit Claim Deed filed under Auditor's File No. 836~1:
dated 28 November, 196q; Kitsap County, Washington.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The City Council of ~he City of Bremerton in
its regular session on October 16, 1968~ passed a ReSolution ~1387~
setting the date of hearing on a proposed vacation of the following:
A strip of land~ 60 feet in width, lying 30~ feet on each
side of the following described Cen~erline: Beginning
at the intersection of the Westerly margin of Winfield
Avenue as described in that certain Quit Claim Deed filed
under Auditor's File No. 832~, dated 13 October, 196~,
Kitsap County, Washington, and the Westerly extension
of ~he CentePline of Highlands Street in the Plat of The
Highlands as recorded in Vol. 6 of Plats, page q2, records
of Kitsap County, Washington; thence Westerly along the
extended Centerline of East Highlands Stree$, to the
East Margin of Marlow Avenue as described in that certain
Quit Claim Deed filed 'under Auditor's File No. 836~1,
dated 28 November, 196~; Kitsap CoUnty~ Washington.
and set the 6th day of November, 1968, as the date upon which to
hear objections to said vacation proceedings, and directed notice
of hearing to be posted and given in the 'manner and ~form provided
by law.
Section 2. That all of the above described portion of prop-
erty be and they hereby. are declared vacated and the vacating of this
property is subject to the terms of that certain Deed, dated October 2,
1968, between George McKeown and the City of BPemerton.
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to certify a copy of
this Ordinance and ~o file ~he same for recording with the Auditor
of Kitsap County~ Washington.
