AN ORDINANCE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for Local Im-
provement District No. 298, providing for the improvement of Rickey Road
Area, as in said Ordinance described; providing for the levying and assess-
ing for the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lots of land
between the termini and within the boundaries of said improvement district;
providing for the collection thereof; creating and establishing a special
fund therefor; and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds in payment
thereof.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No.
298 providing for the improvement of Rickey Road Area by the construction of
sanitary sewers !md necessary appurtenances, together with the doing of any
and all other work in connection therewith as may be necessary to make such
improvement a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations on file :in the Office of the City Engineer and as provided by Or-
dinance No. 2758, the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown
in said assessment roll is specially benefited by said improvement and that
there be and is hereby assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part
thereof and other property contained in said improvement district as shown in
said roll, including any property belonging to the City of Bremerton and the
respective amounts in said roll set against each parcel and lot of land and
or part thereof and other property between the termini of said improvement,
abutting upon, adjacent or proximate to said improvement, and such amounts
so assessed are hereby declared to be first lien against each parcel or lot
or part thereof against which the same is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be known as "Local Improvement Fund
District No. 298". Bonds, bearing interest at S% shall be issued in serial
numbers from one (1) to 6_~1 inclusive, to as many as may be necessary to pro-
vide for the uncollected portion of said district on the date hereinafter
fixed, to be in denominations of SO0 bonds each, except the first which shall
be for such fractional part of SO0 as may be remaining and unpaid on said
date, payable from said "Local Improvement Fund District No. 298.

Section 4. That the 3rd day of December, 1968, be and the same is
hereby fixed for the date of issuance and sale of bonds to be issued on ac-
count of said improvement.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
inmediately after its passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council, signed by the ~4ayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 25th day of September,
1968.
