AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton, Washington, speci-
fying and adopting a plan for the construction of certain
additiorm and improvements to and extensions of the sew-
erage system of the City, declaring the estimated cost
thereof as required by RCW 3S. 67.030, and declaring an
emergency.
WHEREAS the City of Bremerton, Washington, now owns, main-
tains, and operates its sewerage system which is in need of certain
additions, improvements, and extensions in order to provide the
City, its inhabitants and people living in the vicinity thereof
with proper sewage collection.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The following plan for the construction and
installation of additions and improvements to the sewerage system of
the City, as required by RCW 35.67.030, hereby specifies and adopts
to wit:
An 8" sanitary sewer extending from the existing
southernmost manhole on the City reservoir drain
line north of the intersection of Ivy Road and
Harbel Drive; south 389.6 feet on an easement
and Harbel Drive.
An 8" sanitary sewer from the existing northern-
most manhole on the City reservoir drain line
north of the intersection of Ivy Road and Harbel
Drive; north 20S.4 feet on an easement.
Section 2. The estimated cost of constructing and in-
stalling the above described additions and improvements to and ex-
tensions of the sewerage system of the City is hereby declared to be,
as near as may be, the sum of $2,730.00
Section 3. That the Commissioner of Public Works is here-
by directed to proceed with the construction of the above project,
and that the plans, specifications, and an estimate of cost be filed
in his office.
Section 4. That there exists and is hereby declared to
exist an emergency and this ordinance is necessary for the imuediate
preservation of the public peac.e, health, and safety of the citizens
of the City of Bremerton and shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
1968.
