and amendine Sub-Section 3 of Section 9 of
Ordinance No. 1.942 so as to provide for
a wiring metho¢~ using non-metallic sheathed
cable in approved areas.
THE CITY OF BREMERTO~,~ DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1963 is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. Sub-Section 3 of Section 9 of Ordin-
ance 1948 is amended to read as follows:
"In schools, theatres, churches, hospitals~ assembly
halls~ public buildings and hotels, the wirin3 shall be encased in
rigid metal conduit~ electrical metallic tubing~ cast in place race--.
way,under floor duct or approved non=metallic conduit. For classifi-
cation of buildings, the descriptions and types will be found in the
current Building Code and/or Zoning Ordinance of the City of E, remerton.
In apartment buildings, motels and dormitories not
located within the first three Fire Zones, non-metal].ic sheathed cab]e
with grounding conductor may be used as the wiring method for branch
circuits in such wood frame occuDamcies of not more than three
stories, not including the basement. Approved raceways shall be
installed for feet]ers or sub-feeders."
