AN ORDII~KNC~. amending Ordinance No. 2819 adopting the
Street Department budget of ~he City of Bremerton for
the year 1969~ as authorized by Sec. 17~ Chapter 9~,
Washington Laws of 1969, First Extraordinary Session,
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. At the time of the adoption of the 1969 Street De-
partment Budget no cash surplus was anticipated as of January 1~ 1969,
whereas there was actually a cash surplus of $~,O92.31.
SECTION 2. As authorized by Section 17~ Chapter 9[, ~ashington
Laws of 1969, First E~traordinary Session, Section I of Ordinance 2819~
which adopted the City of Bremerton budget for the y~ar 1969, is hereby
amended in part to read as follows:
Street: Operation & Naintenance 303 ~69~. 20
SECTION 3. There exists, and is hereby declared to exist, an
emergency, and this o~dinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the public peace~ health and safety of the citizens of Rremerton, and
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage and publica-
tion.
PASSED on first reading by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
tion of such passage this ~z~ day of December, 1969.
