and gutters; directing condemnation of property
for such purpose and the payment of just comDen-~
sation therefore and decl. aring an emergency.
THE CITY OF ~aREMEP, TON DOES 0PDAIkt:
Section 1. That for the public health; safety and welfare
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton~ said City has entered into
a program to extend its street system and has caused to be prepared
general and specific plans therefore.
Section 2. To accomplish the said extension~ it is
necessary to secure property for the construction of the sa~d str
sidewalks and gutters t~rough and over the followine descr[.bed real
property:

That portion of the south half of Lot lC, Block
Plat of Navy Park First Addition as recorded in
Volume 2 of Plats at Paee,~ 20, records of k.~_ts~'
~ ainninq
County~ Washington, described as follows:
at a point on the north line of said Plat of Navy
Park; 608.52 feet easterly of the northwest corner
thereof~ sa~d point being the point of curvature of a
curve to the right having a radius of Rg0 feet:
thence along said curve to the right through an amqle
of 23°00'00"~ a distance of 321.1~ feet to a point of
tan~ency: thence southeasterly along said tangent
98.05 feet to a point of curvature with a curve to the
left having a radius of 900 feet~ thence along said
curve to the ]eft a distance of 134.91 feet, more or
less to a point[ thence southwesterly along a radial
line a distance of 36 feet to a point on the north
line of the south half of Lot 18, said point being
the true point of beginnine~ thence easterly along the
north line thereof a distance of ~.81 feet more or
].ess to the northeast corner of the south half of Lot
18' thence southerly along the east line of Lot 18 to
a point which is 3~,, feet measured radially from the
aforementioned 909 foot radius curve: thence north-
westerly alon~ a curve to the right of radius 936 feet
and parallel to akove 900 foot radius curve to the
true point of beginning.

Section 2. The City Attorney ~.s hereby authorize~] and
directed to proceed i~ediately with the condemnation for t~e above
described property in the Superior Court of the State of Washington
for K~tsap County.

declared to exist~ and this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservatio~ of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens
of the City of Bremerton and this Ordinance should take anc~ be
effective immediately following passage an~ pub[~ication.
