$37,000.00 in the Water Distribution
Budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: There is hereby appropriated to the
water distribution budget the sum of $37~000.00.
SECTION 2: There exists, and is hereby declared to
exist, an emergency; and this ordinance is necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety of the citizens of Bremerton, and shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this /~day of October, 1969.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
Acting City Clerk in authentication of such passage this

acting Commissioner of Public Works of the City of
Bremerton~ Washington~ being first duly sworn on oath
depos~and says That new development in the water distribution
area has made it necessary that a great many more installations
be made than provided for in the 1969 Operating Budget as
approved. Further~ that if called upon to expand the system
famtherbecause of further new development there is a prospect
that the overrun will go higher and that this appropriation
