ate limits of the City of Br~merton certain land lying
outside the limits of the City of Bremerton and being
contiguous to the City of Bremerton ~nd declaring an
M~ERGENCY.
THE CITY OF B~N DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Whereas, a petition signed by the owners of more than
seventy-five percent (75%) of the property hereinafter described, in value
according to the assessed valuation for taxation of said property, has been
filed with the City Council of the City of Brem~rton and the Council has dir-
ected that notice of the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a
public hearing was held on the 4t.h... day of June, 1969, and following such public
hearing the City Council has determined to annex said described property:
SECTION 2. That the following described tract of land is hereby and
by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within and becomes a part of the
City of Bremerton, to-wit:
The East 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the
NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 2,
Tmmship 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
SECTION 3. That the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Bre~rton--
Resolution 1294--for the above described property is hereby adopted and m~de
applicable thereto.
SECTION 4. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary
for the i~mediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and this ordinance shall be
force and effect following passage and publication. ~
