Initiative measure 242 by reference; pro-
viding for penalties for violation ~here-
of, and providing for and declaring an
EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1o Adoption: That the provisions of
initiative measure No. 2~2 ape hereby adopted by ~efep-
ence as set forth in the text of That measure on file
with The Secretary of State, and said provisions are
adopted as part of The traffic code of the City of Brem-
erton. '
SecTion 2. Penalties: Any. person guilty of vio-
lation of the provisions of Section 1. hereof shall be
guilty of~a misdemeanor and be subject to a. fine of not
To exceed $300.00 or imprisonment in the City Jail not
To exceed~ninety days or both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3.. Effective Date: That an emergency exists
and is declared to' exist 'affecting the public peace, health
and safety of the citizens of the City of' Bremerton, and
This 0rdinance shall take effect on January 1969.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of. The City of
