AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 3579 and amending
Ordinance No. 2848, §8 regarding parking meters - holidays
and Sundays exempted.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 3579 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: Ordinance No. 2848, §8 is hereby amended to read
as follows:
SECTION 8: HOLIDAYS AND SUNDAYS EXEMPTED -
Restrictions on parking, as herein set forth, and the
requirements contained herein for the deposit of coins in parking
meters, shall not be effective on Sundays and on the following
holidays:
New Year's Day (January 1)
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents' Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day (July 4)
Labor Day (first Monday in September)
Veteran's Day (November 11)
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day (December 25)
