AN ORDINANCE providing for the annexation o-F ce~l~Rl,J.T~ ....
territory to the City of Bremerton and incorporating
the same within the corporate limits thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: After initiation of proceedings as provided in
RCW 35.13.125, the owners of not less than seventy-five percent
(75%) in value, according to the assessed valuation for general
taxation of the property hereinafter described, have petitioned
pursuant to RCW 35.13.130 for annexation of said area to the City
of Bremerton; that said petition came on for hearing before the
City Council on March 5, 1986; that notice of said hearing was
published in the manner provided by law; that the petition was
reviewed by the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board on March 20,
1986, at which time the Boundary Review Board declined to invoke
its jurisdiction; that said area is contiguous to the City of
Bremerton and that the City Council deems it beneficial that the
area become a part of the City of Bremerton, Washington.
SECTION 2: That the property described below is being
annexed to and made a part of the City of Bremerton, to wit:
Block 2 Leibly and Blumer's 1st Addition to Bremerton
Heights as recorded in Volume 3, page 89 of plats,
Kitsap County, Washington. ALSO the entire right-of-way
shown on said plat, abutting said Block 2 of said plat.
That portion of NE 1/2, SE 1/4 of Section 21, TWP 24
Range 1 E conveyed by Volume 612/543 DAF, that portion
of the FDP lying W of Union Avenue DAF, beginning
1328.83 feet E of the NW corner of SE 1/4 said section;
thence S 146.65 feet; thence E 330 feet; thence N
146.65 feet; thence W 330 feet to point of beginning;
EXCEPT that portion thereof condemned by USA in USDC
No. 711.
That portion of NE 1/4, SE 1/4 of Section 21 TWP 24
Range 1 E conveyed by Auditor's #1144713 DAF beginning
146.65 feet S and 1328.83 feet E of NW corner of
SE 1/4 of said section; thence S 132 feet; thence E
330 feet; thence N 132 feet; thence W 330 feet to
point of beginning; EXCEPT that portion lying E of Union
Avenue; EXCEPT Union Avenue and EXCEPT that portion
condemned by USA in USDC No. 711.
SECTION 3: All property within the territory so annexed
shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same
basis as property of the City of Bremerton is assessed and taxed
to pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted
prior to or existing at the date hereof.

SECTION 4: This annexation to be effective on and after the
approval, passage and publication of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be
filed with the Kitsap County Commissioners, State of Washington,
and as otherwise provided by law.
SECTION 6: The proposed site which is the subject of this
annexation shall be part of the City of Bremerton's Comprehensive
Plan and assigned a manufacturing and R-1 zoning status.
APPROVED by the City Council o~ the City of Bremerton on the
