AN ORDINANCE setting forth the salary and benefits for
the City Council of the City of Bremerton.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: COUNCIL MEMBERS SALARY: Each Council member of
the City of Bremerton shall receive a salary of $100.00 per
Council meeting attended by the Council member, not to exceed an
annual amount of $6,000.00. Council members shall receive no
medical or dental benefits.
SECTION 2: EFFECTIVE DATE: While this Ordinance shall not
be effective until second reading and publication pursuant to the
City Charter, the City Council shall begin receiving the salary
as set forth in the Ordinance effective January 1, 1986, pursuant
to this Ordinance and Council motion passed May 1, 1985, and all
payments to the Council of that amount pri~or to the effective
date of this Ordinance are hereby ratified and affirmed.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in authentication
