AN ORDINANCE adoptinq and confirming the
assessment roll for Local Improvement District
No. 323 providing for the improvement to
Edgewood Drive
As described in Ordinance No. 3545 providing for the
levying and assessing for the costs and expense thereof against the
parcels and lots of land within the boundaries of said improvement
district; providing for the collection thereof; creating and establish-
ing a special fund therefore; and fixing the date for the issuance
of bonds, warrants, or installment notes in payment thereof.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement
District No. 3545 providing for the improvement of said Edgewood Drive,
by construction of Curbs, Gutters and Asphalt surfacing, together with
the doing of any and all work in connection therewith as may be
necessary to make such improvement a complete job, all in accordance
with the plans of specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer and as approved by Ordinance No. 3545, the same is hereby
approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof,
as shown in said assessment roll is specially benefited by said improve-
ment and that there be and us hereby assessed against each parcel and
lot of land and part thereof and other property contained in said
improvement district as shown in said roll, including any property be-
longing to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts in said
roli-set against each parcel and lot of landor part'thereof and other
property between the termini of said improvement, abutting upon, ad-
jacent or proximate to said improvement, and such amounts so assessed
are hereby declared to be first lien against each parcel or lot or
part thereof against which the same is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this improvement there
is hereby created and established a special fund to be known as "Local
Improvement Fund District No. 323". An installment note bearing
interest at 6.0% shall be issued payable from said "Local Improvement
Fund District No. 323".
Section 4. That the 29 day of September 1981, be and
the same is hereby fixed for the date of issuance of the installment
note to be issued on account of said improvement.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immeditely after its p~ssage and publication as provided by
law.
PASSED by City Council, signed by the Mayor and attested
by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this -~' day
of August 1981.
