AN ORDINANCE amendi~g sections of
Ordinance No. 311~1 (Dyrelating to
the Civic Improvement Fund.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No~ 3119 ~1 (D) is
hereby amended to read as follows:
There is created a special l'~nd to be known as
"Civic Improvement Fund" in the treasury of the city. All
such taxes collected under this chapter shall be placed in
such fund for the purpose of paying all or any part of the
cost of acquisition, construction or operating of public
stadium facilities and/or convention center facilities or
to pay or secure the payment of all or any portion of gen-
eral obligation bonds or revenue bonds issued for such purpose
as specified herein, or to pay for advertising, publicizing,
or otherwise distributing information for the purpose of
attracting visitors and encouraging tourist expansion,
and until withdrawn for use, the moneys accumulated in such
fund may be invested in interest bearing securities by the city
treasurer in any manner authorized by law.
