AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3439
§ 4, relating to demolition expenses of
dangerous buildings.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3439 shall be
amended to read as follows:
17.20.030 AMENDMENT - SECTION 901 - DEMOLITION EXPENSES.
Section 901 of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous
Buildings is amended to read:
"Section 901. The mayor or his designee shall keep an
itemized account of the expense incurred by the City in the
repair or demolition of any building done pursuant to the
provisions of Section 701 (c) (3) of this Code. Upon the
completion of the work of repair or demolition, said mayor or his
designee shall prepare and file with the City Clerk a report
specifying the work done, the itemized and total cost of the
work, including an administration and collection fee in the
amount of one hundred dollars to cover the costs of publication,
recording and service of all notices and the cost incurred by the
City in the collection of the assessment or obligation as
determined by Section 905 of this Code, a description of the real
property upon which the building or structure is or was located,
and the names and addresses of the persons entitled to notice
pursuant to subsection (c) of Section 401."
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
