AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1673, § 31
relating to definitions when referring to
streets and sewers in Bremerton.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 31 of Ordinance No. 1673 shall be
amended to read as follows:
15.08.310 DEFINITIONS. The superintendent of streets and sewers
or the city health officer, whenever used in this chapter, shall
be held and construed to mean such superintendent, and any of his
or her authorized assistants or inspectors.
"Person" wherever used in this chapter shall, when
necessary, be held and construed to mean and include natural
persons of either sex, associations, copartnerships, and
corporations, whether acting by themselves or by a servant,
agent, or employee; the singular number when necessary shall be
held and construed to include the plural and the masculine
pronoun to include the feminine.
