relating to taxicab drivers's permit
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2896 shall be
amended to read as follows:
5.54.160 ISSUANCE OF TAXICAB DRIVER'S PERMIT - DURATION - FEE -
TEMPORARY TAXICAB DRIVER'S PERMIT. The city clerk, upon approval
by the mayor, shall issue a temporary permit for such period of
time not to exceed thirty days as the mayor shall designate, and
such temporary permit shall have stamped thereon the date of
termination.
Upon approval of an application as hereinabove provided for a
taxicab driver's permit, the city clerk shall issue a permit to
the applicant, which permit shall bear the name, address, age,
signature and photograph of the applicant. Such permit shall be
in effect for the remainder of the license year.
A permit for every license year thereafter shall be issued upon
the payment of ten dollars and may be issued within thirty days
of the expiration of the license year. Such renewal, however,
shall not be granted unless the permit for the preceding year has
not been revoked.
