§3, relating to powers and duties of
wastewater facility superintendent.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3489 shall be
amended to read as follows:
2.16.030 POWERS AND DUTIES. The wastewater facility
superintendent shall:
(1) Be charged with the operation of the municipal
wastewater plant(s);
(2) Be responsible for the repair, maintenance and
control of the sanitary treatment and discharge facilities;
(3) Be in charge of training for operation of the
wastewater facilities;
(4) Shall assist and make recommendations to the city
engineer in new design and modifications to the wastewater
facilities;
(5) Coordinate, direct and supervise the preparation
and submission of periodic and special operating reports on
wastewater treatment facility operations.
(6) Represent the wastewater facility department at
meetings and public hearings with state and federal agencies; and
(7) Carry out such other assignments as are directed
by the mayor.
