relating to provision for special initiative
for the sales tax ordinance.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: Amendment of Ordinance No. 3711, Section 4.
This ordinance, as well as any subsequent
ordinance or resolution altering the tax imposed
pursuant to Section 3(B) of this ordinance,
shall be subject to ratification or repeal by the
voters through the initiative procedure set forth
in Article III, §§ 46 through 48.
SECTION 2: Emergency.
This ordinance is declared to be passed on an
emergency basis due to the fact that the
Washington State Deparmtnet of Revenue requires
that the ordinance containing special initiative
procedure be effective by January 1, 1983.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this~day of December, 1982.
