AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No.
3548 and adopting the 1982 Uniform
Building Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
Ordinance No. 3548 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE
The 1982 Uniform Building Code as published by the
International Conference of Building Officials, is
hereby adopted in its entirety, including Related Standards
and Appendices, except the following:
(1) Chapter 1 of the Appendix~
(2) Chapter 12 of the Appendix;
(3) Chapter 53 of the Appendix.
SECTION 3. VIOLATION - PENALTY
Any person, firm or corporation violation any of the
provisions of the Uniform Building Code as published by
the International Conference of Building Officials, and
enacted by the City of Bremerton, shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor, and each such person shall be deemed
guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or
portion thereof during which any violation of any of the
provisions of the Code is committed, continued, or permit-
ted, and upon conviction of any such violation such person
shall be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred
Dollars ($300.00).
