AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No.
2176 to exclude Used Car Dealers from
the definition of Second Hand Dealers.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
SECTION 1:
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2176 shall be amended to read as
follows:
DEFINITIONS.
Any person, firm or corporation within the City of
Bremerton which purchases, exchanges or receives on
consignment for sale or re-sale, second-hand goods as a
business or as a part of the person's, firm's or corpor-
ation's, business, other than junk, as defined in this
Ordinance, is hereby defined as a second-hand dealer
within the meaning of this Ordinance. This definition
shall not include licensed dealers of used motor
vehicles.
"JUNK" is hereby defined as rags, bottles, scrap metal,
used paper and worn out objects having no value except
for the material of which they are composed.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first readings

PASSED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
