Bremerton Police Department for the service
of arrest warrants and subpoenaes, and
repealing any prior ordinances setting fees
inconsistent with those contained within this
ordinance.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBy ORDAIN:
Section 1.
The City of Bremerton Police Department is hereby authorized
to charge the following fees:
(A) For serving an arrest warrant in any action or proceed-
ing, besides mileage, a fee of $15.00 will be imposed;
(B) For the service of any subpoena, the fee charged will
be $6.00 and for making a return of the subpoena, the fee
will be $5.00;
(C) For each mile actually and necessarily travelled by a
member of the Police Department in going to or returning
from any place of service, or attempted service, the fee
shall be $.25 per mile and such fee shall be charged in addi-
tion to the fee for serving an arrest warrant or subpoena.
Section 2.
The above-enumerated fees are identical to those fees
charged by the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office for service of
process and said fees are authorized pursuant to RCW 36.18.040.
Any prior ordinances of the City of Bremerton setting fees for
service of subpoenaes and arrest warrants, which are inconsistent
with this ordinance, are hereby repealed.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first readings
this 5th day of October, 1982.
PASSED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~- day of
