AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3294 to
define "Sexual Conduct" and omit the
definition of "Commit prostitution".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION i - Amendment of Section i to Define "Sexual Conduct"
Section I of Ordinance 3294 is amended to read as follows:
SECTION i - PROSTITUTION
(1) It is unlawful for any person to engage in, or agree to
engage in sexual conduct with another person in return for pay-
ment of a fee.
(2) For purposes of this ordinance, sexual conduct means
sexual intercourse as defined in RCW 9A.44.010(1) or sexual
contact as defined in RCW 9A. 44.100(2).
SECTION 2 - Amendment of Section 7 to add definition of
"Prostitution" in place of term "Commit Prostitution"
Section 7(3) of Ordinance No. 3294 is amended to read as
follows:
(3) Prostitution means to engage in conduct prescribed in
Section 1 of this ordinance.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first readings
this 14 day of September, 1982.
