AN ORDINANCE repealin~ ordinances ~hich
pertain to the City's Electrical Code and
Electrical Inspections.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1 - REPEAL OF BMC 17.32 WHICH PERTAIN TO ELECTRICAL
STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS
Ordinance Nos. 2946, 3152 and 3633 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2 - REPEAL OF BMC 17.36 WHICH PERTAINS TO THE SALE OF
SUBSTANDARD, UNSAFE ELECTRICAL MATERIALS
Ordinance Nos. 1638 and 1981 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 - REPEAL OF BMC 17.44.090, 17.44.240 AND 17.44.250
WHICH PERTAIN TO ELECTRICAL STANDARDS FOR SIGNS
Ordinance No. 2162, Sections 302, 409-A and 410 are hereby
repealed.
SECTION. 4 - EMERGENCY
This'ordinance is hereby declared to be passed on an emer-
gency basis because the cUrrent decrease in activity in the
construction industry has resulted in the revenue from electrical
inspections not paying for itself and until the City repeals its
Electrical Code, the State will not handle City electrical
inspections.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first readings
