AN ORDINANCE relating to the relationship
between the City of Bremerton and the
Bremerton Housing Authority.
WHEREAS, the Commissioners for the City of Bremerton,
by resolution dated July 17, 1940, as amended by resolution
dated August 14, 1940, authorized the formation of the Housing
Authority of the City of Bremerton, pursuant to RCW 35.82;
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority for the City of Bremerton,
has and does exist as a public corporation organized for the
administering of low-income housing development for the City
of Bremerton;
WHEREAS, there is some question as to the continued
existence of said agreements between said Housing Authority and
the City of Bromerton;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Commissioners
of the City of Bremerton, that any and all contracts and agreements
by and between the City of Bremerton and the Housing Authority of
the City of Bremerton, be and they hereby are, reaffirmed in all
respects;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Housing Authority for the City
of Bremerton, be and it hereby is, confirmed as the agency authorized
to administer low-income housing for the City of Bremerton.
APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton on
