AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton,
Washington, amending Section 10 of
Ordinance No. 3680, to extend the date
of termination of activities of the
Bremerton Housing Authority to
September 15, 1982.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the following amendment
is in the best interests of the public safety and general welfare,
and is enacted pursuant to state ].aw which authorizes the creation
of a Joint ~[ousing Authority~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the interests of
fairness and general welfare call for the amendment of this ordin-
ance, now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1.
Section l0 of Ordinance No. 3680 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 10. DISSOLUTION OF EXISTING AUTHORITY.
A. The Bremerton Housing Authority heretofore
existing prior to the enactment of this ordinance will co-exist
with the new Joint Housing Authority until all assets, contracts
and liabilities are transferred from the Bremerton Housing Author-
ity to the Joint Housing Authority. After this transfer has been
accomplished, the Bremerton Housing Authority will be dissolved.
iH' no event shall the Bremerton Housing Authority continue to
exist past September 15, 1982.
APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton on
first reading this ~O day of /~/ , 1982.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
Washington, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
