~\~%~ORDINANCE granting a right-of-way of vacation.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Pro~r~ to be Vacated. That a right-of-way
vacation be granted to Great Northwest Savings and Loan on real
property described as follows:
A portion of the alley running east and west in
Block 5, Town of Bremerton, as recorded in Vol.
2, Page 30 of Plats, Kitsap County, Washington;
said portion being the alley abutting Lots 1
through 8 and Lots 40 through 47, and the West
8 feet abutting Lots 9 and 39 of said Block 5,
containing 3,472 square feet; situate in the
City of Bremerton, County of Kitsap, State of
Washington.
and the same is hereby granted, subject to the following condi-
tions:
A. This vacation is subject to any existing utility
easements.
B. That the applicant, Great Northwest Savings and
Loan, comply with Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance.
Section 2. Property to be Deeded to the Cit~. As part
of the consideration for the above-described right-of-way vacation
by the City of Bremerton to Great Northwest Savings and Loan,
Great Northwest Savings and Loan will deed, by quit claim, to the
City of Bremerton the following described real property:
The East 22 feet of Lot 39, Block 5, Town of
Bremerton, as recorded in Vol. 2, Page 30 of
Plats, Kitsap County, Washington, containing
2,266 feet; situate in the City of Bremerton,
County of Kitsap, State of Washington.
Section 3. Additional Compensation. Pursuant to RCW
47.24.020(14) and other applicable laws and ordinances, the ap-
plicant, Great Northwest Savings and Loan, Bremerton, Washington,
shall pay the City of Bremerton the sum of Seven Thousand Six
Hundred Seventy Dollars ($7,670.00). This figure comprises the
difference between the fair market value of the real property
being vacated, less the fair market value of the property being
deed to the City of Bremerton from Great Northwest Savings and

Loan, which total amount is Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred Forty
Dollars ($15,340.00), which amount is then divided by one-half.
In addition, there shall be deeded to the City of
Bremerton another piece of real property legally described as fol-
lows:
Beginning at the SW Cor of Lot 38, Block 5,
Town of Bremerton as recorded in Vol. 2
Page 30 of Plats, Kitsap County, Washington;
thence north along the west line of said Lot
38 a distance of 10 feet; thence southeast
in a straight line to a point on the south
line of said Lot 38, said point being 10 ft.
east of the POB; thence west to the POB.
Containing 50 sq. ft.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first reading

PASSED by the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
