relating to fire permit fees and estab-
lishing a permit and fee for Roofing
Company Hot Tar Kettles.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: Section 8 of Ord. inance No. 3639 is amended
to read as follows:
The fee for permits for open burning incinerator
burning and land clearing shall be payable
in advance and shall be an annual fee as
follows:
Residential incinerator or open burning $ 5.00
Commercial incinerator or open burning $45.00
Land clearing and development $45.00
The permit fee for Residential incinerator or open
burning shall be reduced by fifty percent for senior citizens.
Organized neighborhood clean-up activities for which a Residen-
tial incinerator or open burning permit is necessary, shall
obtain such permit but the permit fee shall be waived.
Permits shall be valid for one year from date of
issuance. Each application for a permit shall be accompanied
with not less than one year's permit fee in advance.
Section 2: Permits for Roofing Co~pan)[ Hot Tar
Kettles shall be obtained from the office of City Clerk.
Applications for such permits shall be approved by the fire
chief prior to issuance of the permit.
The fee for Roofing Company Hot Tar Kettles permits
shall be $25.00 and such permits shall be valid for six months
from ~he da~e of J. ssuance.
Section 3: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3428 as a--
mended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3639 is hereby amended to
read as follows:

Any person violating any provisions of this
chapter or failing to comply with the pro-
visions of this chapter shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor as set forth in Section
1.212 of the Uniform Fire Code, 1979 Edition
and shall be punished by a fine not to ex-
ceed three hundred dollars or imprisonment
in the city jail not exceeding ninety days,
or both such fine and imprisonment.
