AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3708,
Section 1, to alter the office hours of the
City Treasurer and the City Clerk, and declaring
an emergency.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Ordinance No. 3708, § 2, is amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1:
All offices of the City, located and maintained in the
City Hall, with the exception of the police department traffic
violations of the Municipal Court and the offices of the City
Treasurer and City Clerk, shall be kept open for the transaction
of business during the hours of eight a.m. to five p.m. of each
business day from Monday through Friday of each week, holidays
excepted.
SECTION 2:
That for the public health, safety and welfare of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton, the offices of the City
Treasurer and City Clerk shall be open for business from
nine-thirty a.m. to five p.m. each business day from Monday
through Friday of each week, holidays excepted.
SECTION 3:
City Hall shall be closed on Saturday, Sunday a nd
holidays.
SECTION 4:
That an emergency exists, and it is hereby declared to
exist, and this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton, and this ordinance should take
and be effective on January 1, 1984.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
