Ordinance No. 3838, §3, is hereby amended by addition
of the following provision regarding screening~
D. A screeDin9 area no less than four (~) feet wide
along Chester add no less than four (~) feet wlde along Fourth
S~reet planted wlth a dense, fast-growing evergreen hedge no less
than four (4) feet high spaced so as to provide 75% screening
within two (2) years. In no case shall the redwood tree
indicated on Exhibit B-1 be disturbed, altered, mutilated, cut
down, or destroyed in any manner; provided, that ~he screening
area along Fourth Street may be as narrow as four (4) feet if a
variance to sideyard setback requirementss is obtained; and
further provided that such screening shall be modified as
necessary to meet Engineering Department requirements for clear
sight at street and driveway intersections.
