AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3840 relating to
1/4% real estate tax, by the addition of a new Section,
No. 5, regarding establishment of a capital improvement
fund composed of moneys collected from this tax,
and expenditures from such fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Ordinance No. 3840 is amended by the addition of a new
section, as follows:
SECTION 5.
Moneys collected from this tax shall be retained in a
separate capital improvement fund.
A. EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS:
Moneys from this fund may be expended only after
authorization from the City Council under the direction and the
approval of the Mayor, Council President or his Council
representative, and City Treasurer. All claims against this fund
may be paid upon obtaining the signatures of at least two of the
above-mentioned persons, one of whom must be the Council
President or his Council representative.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this

signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
