Bremerton water and wastewater utility shall pay
to the City in lieu of taxes.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. WATER UTILITY'S PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES.
Bremerton Water Utility shall make a monthly payment in
the amount of $37,500.00 to the City in lieu of total annual
taxes of FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($450,000) DOLLARS, with an
annual increase in the amount of the Consumer Price Index for all
urban consumers.
SECTION 2. WASTEWATER UTILITY'S PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES.
Bremerton Wastewater Utility shall make a monthly
payment in the amount of $29,167.00 to the City in lieu of total
annual taxes of THREE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($350,000) DOLLARS
with an annual increase in the amount of the Consumer Price
Index for all urban consumers.
SECTION 3. BASE YEAR.
The base year for purposes of determining the amount of
the annual increase due to the Consumer Price Index shall be
December to December. The first base year is December, 1982,
with a CPI of 292.4. This ordinance shall become effective July
1, 1983.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading

PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, signed by the Mayor and attested by the
City Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~_~O day of
