through 14, Block 1, plat of "Town of Bremerton" subject to
reservation of utilities easements and other conditions:
WHEREAS, the owner of lots 9 through 14, Block 1, plat of
"Town of Bremerton" has initiated proceedings for vacation of the
alleyabutting said lots; and
WHEREAS, notice has been posted and published according to law
and a public hearing held on July 12, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the council finds that the portion of the alley set
forth herein is not needed for present or future traffic
circulation and should be vacated to the adjoining property owner,
Washington State Department of Transportation; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Vacation. The following rights-of-way are hereby
vacated to the adjoining property owner:
The alley platted adjacent to Lots 1 through
14, Block 1, plat of "Town of Bremerton"
according to the record and files of Kitsap
County Auditor, Kitsap County, Washington.
Section 2~ Conditions~ This right-of-way vacation shall be
subject to the following conditions and deed restrictions:
1. The applicant shall pay compensation as established by the
City Attorney's office prior to second reading hereof.
2. Necessary easements for existing and future public
utilities are hereby reserved.

3. The applicant shall dedicate property west of First Street
necessary for a cul-de-sac at its southern terminus as determined
by the city Engineer.
Section 3. Effective Date. This vacation shall become
effective ten (10) days from passage and publication or the
satisfaction of condition number 3 above, whichever is later.
