An ordinance to vacate portion of that street known as
Kitsap Way located on the southern side between
,, Forrest Avenue and Pershing Avenue.
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Planning Commission held a duly
noticed public hearing on June 21, 1988 to develop a
recommendation on this street vacation to the Bremerton City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council passed Resolution No.
2222 on July 20th, 1988 for the purpose of setting a hearing date
for this street vacation ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council held a duly noticed
public hearing on August 10, 1988 for the purpose of receiving
public comment on this street vacation ordinance; and adopts the
Findings and Conclusions of the Planning Commission dated August
16, 1988; now therefore
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Bremerton hereby
vacates that portion of Kitsap Way described as follows:

SECTION 2: This street vacation is subject to the following
conditions:
1. The applicant shall confirm the need for any
additional easements necessary for power, gas,
telephone or cable facilities. If additional
easements are needed, the applicant shall grant the
necessary easements within the vacated area.
2. The applicant shall compensate the City for
the property in accordance with City and
state regulations.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is directed to certify a copy of
this Ordinance and to file same for recording with the Auditor of
Kitsap County, Washington.
