AN ORDINANCE amending ordinance 3055 as
amended by Ordinance 3787, relating to
designation of a fiscal agent and
destruction of paid and cancelled general
and revenue obligation bonds and coupons.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section I: Section 1 of Ordinance 3055 shall be amended to
read as follows:
SECTION I: Pursuant to the authorization contained in RCW
43.80.110, Seattle First National Bank of Seattle, a national
banking association with its principal office in Seattle,
Washington, is hereby designated as fiscal agent for the City of
Bremerton for payment of bonds and coupons thereof, all in
accordance with the requirements of RCW 43.80.100 through RCW
43.80.160, inclusive.
Section II: Section II of ordinance 3055 as amended by
ordinance 3787 shall be amended to read as follows:
SECTION II: Seattle First National Bank of Seattle, is
further designated as cremation agent for the destruction of paid
and cancelled bonds and. coupons in accordance with the
requirements of RCW 43.80.130, provided, however, that the Mayor
is authorized to enter into a contractual agreement with the said
agent providing for and regulating the destruction and/or
cremation of any general or revenue obligation bonds or interest
coupons that have been cancelled or paid after one year from said
cancellation or payment, and further provided that a certificate
of destruction as required by RCW 43.80.140 giving full
descriptive reference to the instruments destroyed shall be made
by the person or persons authorized to perform such destruction,
and one copy of said certificate shall be filed with the Mayor of

the City of Bremerton. No certificate of destruction shall
itself be destroyed until all of the bonds and coupons of the
issue or series described thereon shall have matured and have
been paid or cancelled.
