municipal taxes against all the taxable pro-
perty within the city limits of Bremerton for
the year 1984 and approving the assessment
roll made by the Assessor of Kitsap County,
therefore, to be collected in the year 1985.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That a tax on the total valuation of the
taxable property of the City of Bremerton assessed at the rate of
$2.8715 per one thousand dollars of assessed value, to generate
estimated tax revenue of $2,318,000.00 be, and the same is hereby
levied against the taxable property located within the corporate
limits of the City of Bremerton, for municipal purposes, for the
year 1984, to be collected in the year 1985, and the same to be
carried on the tax rolls and collected by the Treasurer of Kitsap
County.

Section 2. That the assessment roll, as made by the
County Assessor of Kitsap County, Washington and reviewed by the
County Commissioners of said county, assessing property value as
a basis for taxes for the year 1984; to be collected in the year
1985, in which said roll the taxable property in the City of
Bremerton has been preliminary assessed in the sum of
$807,994.947 be and the said assessment roll is hereby approved
as the assessment roll for the City of Bremerton.

Section 3. EMERGENCY: This Ordinance is declared to
be an emergency in light of the fact that state law requires its
passage and effectiveness prior to October 1, 1984 and therefore
this 6rdinance needs to take effect immediately.
APPROVED unanimously by the City Council on an
emergency basis on this ~ day of September, 1984.
