AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton, Washington,
amending Ordinance No. 1792, the City of Bremerton
Zoning Ordinance by adding a new subsection 307.1
relating to permitting by Special Use Permi~ Public
Safety Facilities.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY OROAIN:
SECTION 1:
Ordinance No. 1792, the City of Bremerton Zoning
Ordinance is hereby amended by adding the new subsection 307.1
to read as follows:
Section 307.1 - Public Safety Facilities. The following
uses may be approved by the Planning Commission after public
hearing as a Use by Speclal Permit: a. pollce substation,
b. fire substation, and c. City emergency aid station.
The Commission may place conditions on the permit including,
but not limited to, environmental mitigating measure use
restrictions, expiration date and/or abatement of permit, and
site plan approval.
Hearing notice shall be provided as set forth in Section 1102
of the Zoning Ordinance. Appea.ls of the Planning Commission
decision shall be to the City Council as set forth in Section
12OO of the Zoning Ordinance.
