A~ OI~)~A~CE providing for the annexation of ce~¢~
territory to the City of Bremerton and incorporation
the same within the corporate limits and assigning a
portion of it to be the manufacturing zoning use
classification.
W~EREAS, the owners of not less than seventy-five percent
(75%) of the assessed taxation value of the property described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by this reference
have petitioned the Bremerton City Council for annexation of said
property pursuant to the procedures outlined in RCW 35.13.130;
and
WHEREAS, 'following proper notice, a public hearing was held
on the petition on February 18, 1987, at which hearing the City
Council determined that the area is contiguous to the City of
Bremerton and the annexation would be beneficial; and
W~REAS, the petition was reviewed by the Kitsap County
Boundary Review Board on March 19, 1987, at which time that board
declined to invoke its jurisdiction,
NOW, THEREFORE, THH BREPlF~tTO~ CITY COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
~(~L_~ The property described in Exhibit A is hereby
annexed to and made a part of the City of Bremerton.
~Q~_~-. All property within the territory annexed shall
be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property of the City of Bremerton is assessed and taxed to
pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted prior
to or existing at the date hereof.
SE~~ All property within the territory annexed shall
be subject to and a part of the comprehensive plan of the City of
Bremerton has presently adopted or as is hereafter amended.
~~_4.- The property within the territory annexed shall
be zoned B-2 pursuant to the terms of City Council Zoning Action
on February 18, 1987.
~u(~L~ The property described in Exhibit A, in addition
to the regulations set forth in the Bremerton Ordinance, shall be
subject to an approved Planned Unit Development prior to

SECrICN 6: This annexation is to be effective on or after approval,
passage and publication of this Ordinance.
SECrICIN 7: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
the Kitsap County Conmissioners, State of Washington and as otherwise
provided by law.

reading this 8 day of April , 1987.

The territory proposed to be annexed is within Kitsap County, Washington,
and the boundaries are outlined on the plat accompanying this Petition. The
property is described as follows:
That portion of section 8, township 24 north, range 1 east, W.M.,
in Kitsap County, Washington, described as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of
the southeast quarter of said section 8; thence south 2°38'21'' west
along the east line of said northwest quarter of the southeast
quarter a distance of 939.00 feet; thence north 88°44'43'' west
a distance of 540.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
north 2°48'07'' east a distance of 25.00 feet; thence north 88°44'43''
west a distance of 436.34 feet; thence south 2°48'07'' west a distance
o~f 80.32 feet to the northeast corner of the southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter;
thence north 88o44'49'' west along the north line of said southwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the
southeast quarter, a distance of 325.50 feet to the west line of
said southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter
