AN ORDINANCE adopting the City of Bremerton Shoreline
Management Master Program of 1977, as amended.
WHEREAS, the State of Washington Shoreline Management Act of
1971 and all subsequent amendments is the law of the State of
Washington; and
WHEREAS, certain duties, obligations, and responsibilities
have thereby become incumbent upon the City of Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton approved a Shoreline Master
Program by Resolution No. 1736, dated October 5, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has performed the required
steps under the Shoreline Management Act of 1971, and its
amendments, in the preparation of the amended City of Bremerton
Shoreline Management Master Program; and
WHEREAS, the amended City of Bremerton Shoreline Management
Master Program has been approved by the State of Washington
Department of Ecology, pursuant to WAC 173-19-062 and 173-19-064;
and
WHEREAS, the requirements (WAC 173-19) for amending
shoreline master programs have been met by the City; now,
therefore
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
SECTION 1. The City of Bremerton Shoreline Management
Master Program, as amended in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby adopted.
