THE CITer OF BR]~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. B.M.C. 15.04.612 is hereby mnended to read
as follows:
RATES AND CHARGES FOR SANITARY SEWER SERVICE.
(a) The charges and rates for sanitary sewer service

subpart "D" are established to provide for the costs of bond
redemption, bond interest charges, "onstruction of new
facilities, and maintenance and operation of the City sewer
system.
(b) Sewer service charges are payable from the date the
property is connected to the sewer.
(c) Sewer service charges will be levied on the basis of
water metered to or wastewater metered from the premises.
(d) Each sewer bill shall consist of:
1. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE CHARGES AND RATES:
a. The minimum monthly charge for operation
and maintenance shall be as follows:
CUSTOMER CLASS MINIMUM CHARGE
Single family ~75 1.88 Account
Multi-family =57 .61 Account Plus
~=~8 1.27 Res. Unit
Commercial I =57 .61 Account
Commercial II =57 .61 Account
P.S.N.S. Rate defined in service contract
Jackson Park Rate defined in service contract
Eastpark Rate defined in service contract
K.C.S.D. #1 Rate defined in service contract
The minimum monthly charge for residential
customers includes 200 cubic feet of
wastewater per residential unit.
b. The volumetric rate for operation and
maintenance shall be as follows:
CUSTOMER CLASS SEWER RATE
Single family =76 .82/HCF
Multi-family ~76 .82/HCF
Commercial I =~6 .82/HCF
Commercial II }=89 1.17/HCF
P.S.N.S. Rate defined in service contract
Jackson Park Rate defined in service contract
Eastpark Rate defined in service contract
K.C.S.D. #1 Rate defined in service contract
For residential customers, the volumetric
rate shall be applied to metered water in
excess of 200 cubic feet per month per
residential unit.
2. CAPITAL CHARGES AND RATES:
a. The fixed monthly charge for capital
costs shall be as follows:
CUSTOMER CLASS MONTHLY CHARGE
Single family 4~0 4.55 Account
Multi-family 4~8 4.55 Res. Unit
Commercial I 4~8 4.55 Account
Commercial II 6~6~ 7.16 Account
Minimum monthly charges shall include
200 cubic feet per month per account or
residential unit, ns applicable.
b. The volumetric rates for capital cost
shall be as follows:
CUSTOMER CLASS SEWER RATE
Single family ~9~ 2.07/HCF
Multi-family ~=9~ 2.07/HCF
Commercial I ~9~ 2.07/HCF
Commercial II ~ 3.38/HCF
Volumetric rates shall be applied to
metered water in excess of 200 cubic feet
per month per account or residential
unit, as applicable.
c. The rates set forth in this section shall
be effective for service received on or
