AN ORDINANCE providing [or the annexation off ce[tain
territory to the City o[ Bremerton and incorporating the same
within the corporate limits.
W~E~EAS~ the owners o[ not less than seventy-live percent
(?5%) o[ the assessed taxation value o£ the property described in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated b~ this re£erence
have petitioned the Breme[ton City Council [or annexation o[ said
p~operty pursuant to the procedures outlined in ~CW 35.13.130~
and unde[ the omnibus grant o[ powers o[ £irst class cities by
~CW 35.22.570~ and
W~E~EA$, the [ollowing~roper notice, a public hearing was
heZd on the petition on , at which hea:ing the City
Council determined that the area will be used [or municipal
purposes to the City o[ Bremerton and the annexation would be
bene[iciall and
NO~ T~E~EFO~E~ T~E B~E~E~TON CITY COUNCIL ~B~EBY O~DAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The property described in Exhibit "A" is hereby
annexed to and made a part o[ the City o[ Bremerton.
SECTION ~: All property within the territory annexed shall
be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property o[ the Cit~ o[ Bremerton is assessed and taxed to
pay flor any outstanding indebtedness o£ the City contracted prior
to or existing at the date hereo[.
SECTION 3: All property ~ithin the te~[itory annexed shall
be subject to and a part o[ the comprehensive plan o[ the City
Bremerton has presently adopted or as is he[ea[ter amended.
SECTION ~: The property within the te[ritory annexed shall
be zoned ~-l pursuant to Chapter IV, Section 1601, pair "d"
the Bremerton ~oning O~dinance, as amended by Ordinance No.
SECTION 5~ A certi[ied copy o[ this Ordinance shall be
[iled with the Eitsap Count~ Commissioners, State o[ Washington

regular open public meeting thereof on the 9th day of March, 1988.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington, at a
regular open public meeting thereof on the 16th day of March, 1988.

716.70 feet lying easterly of the east right-of-way margin of 3rd
Street extension
Also:
Part of Government Lot 1, Section 28, T24N., R1E, W.M., in Kitsap
County, Washington, described as follows:
Beginning at the Section corner common to Sections 21,
22, 27 and 28 of said Township and Range; thence S 15
51' 34" W 30 feet; thence N 88 15' 53" W957.38 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 88
15' 53" W 373.78 feet; thence S 1 05' 03" W 315 feet;
thence running northeasterly 485.90 feet to the True
Point of Beginning.
Together with a 30 foot wide strip of land abutting the above
described parcel to the north.
Also:
That portion of Block 12, 18, 21, and 28 of O1~ Hanson's Navy
Yard Addition as recorded in Vol. 4, page 56, Records of Kitsap
County, Washington, lying south of the south margin of Roosevelt
Boulevard as it now exists. Together with the vacated street.
Also:
Block 19, 20, 29, and Lots 13 through 21 of Block 11, in Ole
Hanson's Navy Yard Addition as recorded in Vol. 4, page 56,
Records of Kitsap County, Washington, together with the vacated
streets.
Also:
The right-of-way for Roosevelt Boulevard as it now exists from
the west edge of the Plat of Ole Hanson's Navy Yard Addition to
the east edge of Block 12 of said Plat.
