AN ORDINANCE providing for the annexation of certain
territory to the City of Bremerton and incorporation the same
within the corporate limits.
WHEREAS, the owners of not less than seventy-five percent
(75%) of the assessed taxation value of the property described
in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated by this
reference have petitioned the Bremerton City Council for
annexation of said property pursuant to the procedures outlined
in RCW 35.13.130; and under the omnibus grant of powers of first
class cities by RCW 35.22.570; and
WHEREAS, the following proper notice, a public hearing was
held on the petition on % ~ k 5 ~ q % I I , at which hearing the
City Council determined that the area will be used for municipal
purposes to the City of Bremerton and the annexation would be
beneficial; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The property described in Exhibit "A" is hereby
annexed to and made a part of the City of Bremerton.
SECTION 2: All property within the territory annexed shall
be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property of the City of Bremerton is assessed and taxed to
pay for any outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted prior
to or existing at the date hereof.
SECTION 3: All property within the territory annexed shall
be subject to and a part of the comprehensive plan of the City of
Bremerton has presently adopted or as is hereafter amended.
SECTION 4: The property within the territory annexed shall
be zoned R-1 pursuant to Chapter IV, Section 1601, part "d" of
the Bremerton Zoning Ordinance, as amended by Ordinance No. 2297.
SECTION 5: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be
filed with the Kitsap County Commissioners, State of Washington
and as otherwise provided by law. q 449 15 8

Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Section 1;

thereof 270.34 feet to the True Point of Beginning of
the line herein described; thence North ~ 59'16" East
