modifying the conditions under which a street must be publicly dedicated and
amending Sections 21.02.050and 21.02.500of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. Section 21.02.050of the Bremerton Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
21.02.050 DEFINITIONS· For the purposes of interpreting the Zoning Code, all
words used in this chapter shall have their normal and customary meanings, unless
specifically defined in this chapter or in the Uniform Building or Fire Code adopted by the
City·
(s)(11) "Street" A public right-of-way which affords the principal means of access
to abutting properties, or a private way of travel which affords the principal means of access
Section 2. Amendment. Section 21.02.500of the Bremerton Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
21.02.500 SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS. All Planned Unit
Development projects shall comply with the following standards, which are intended to
provide guidance and predictability to all participants in the PUD process:
(e) Circulation:
(1) All streets shall be publicly dedicated except:
i. Those serving three or fewer lots in single-family developments which
the City Engineer determines should remain as private streets; and

ii. Thos,. serving recreational vehicle or mob..., home parks:; amd
iii. Those serving four or more lots which the City Engineer determines
are not integral to the current and future circulation pattern of the
(2) Streets, whether publicly dedicated or private, or rights-of-way shall be
provided in accordance with City standards.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
