AN ORDINANCE limiting discharge of fireworks to July 4,
1993, amending Ordinances No. 4379 and No. 3370 and Chapter
9.48 of the Bremerton Municipal Code.
THE C~TY OF BRENERTON DOES HEREBY ORDaiN:
Section 1. Amendment. BMC Section 9.48.050 is hereby amended
to read:
.050 HOURS AND DAYS OF USE. No person shall or explode any
fireworks within the City except from noon June 28 to noon July 6
of any year, and A''CA~~ or as part of a public display
authorized pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington;
provided, however, that during the calendar year 1993, the
discharge of fireworks ' ~- -- --~-- shall be
restricted to July 4, ~-~" 1993 from ll:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
~ales of fireworks shall be prohibited after 11:00 P.M. July 4, in
any calendar year. Nothing in this provision shall make it illegal
to have public displays of fireworks when approved by the Bremerton
Fire Department in accordance with the Bremerton Municipal Code.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become
effective ten (10) days from passage and publication.
