AN ORDINANCE repealing laws establishing an emergency response organization
and repealing Bremerton Municipal Code Chapter 2.24.
WHEREAS, Bremerton Municipal Code Chapter 2.24, Civil Defense, established a
civil defense organization and procedures for responding to disaster in 1954 which has been
superseded by the establishment of the Emergency Management Organization in BMC
Chapter 2.26; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Repeal. Chapter 2.24 CIVIL DEFENSE, of the Bremerton Municipal
Code is hereby repealed in its entirety.
