AN ORDINANCE repealing regulations establishing special detention facilities and
repealing Bremerton Municipal Code Chapter 2.66.
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Municipal Code established and segregated areas of the
City jail for minimum security prisoners; and
WHEREAS, the City'sjail has been closed for several years and fees and charges are
set by Kitsap County under a contract with the City of Bremerton for incarceration of City
prisoners; now, therefore,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Repeal. Chapter 2.66CITY JAIL, of the Bremerton Municipal Code is
hereby repealed in its entirety.
