AN ORDINANCE amending the penalties for parking violations and amending
Bremerton Municipal Code 10.11.030.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amendment. Section 10.11.030 is hereby amended to read as follows:
10.11.030 PENALTIES. Unless specifically set forth elsewhere in this title, the
penalties for each parking violation of the provisions of this chapter and Chapter 10.04,
defined as an infraction, shall be:
~ Overtime or non-payment in collection devices:
(i) Lettered zones and metered parking two (2) hours or less - $5.00
(ii) All other - $10.00
(iii) Third and additional violations of this subsection within thirty (30) days -
$30.00
~ Loading Zones: $15.00
~ No Parking: $20.00
~ Wrong Way: $15.00
~e~ Parked on Sidewalk: $50.00
~ Fire Hydrant: $25.00
~g~ 12"+ From Curb: $5.00
h~ Handicapped (public & private): $50.00
~ Counterfeiting or Use of Counterfeit Permits or Tokens: $500.00
~ Unauthorized use of Permits: $100.00
~ All other Infractions Not Specified Above: $10.00
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days from
passage and publication.
